Melia offers counseling and music therapy services for individuals and groups who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, grief, self-esteem, trauma, spiritual issues, and various life transitions. She utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, somatic practices, and expressive arts interventions.

Melia believes in addressing the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and creative aspects of the whole individual. It is her goal to encourage and help her clients discover the strengths that they already possess to manage difficult emotions. Collaboration is a huge part of each therapy session because her clients are the true experts of their lives!

  • Intern at Rogers Behavioral Health in Nashville, TN

  • Intern at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO

  • 2 years of working with children and adolescents in a music therapy setting

  • Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Grace College, Winona Lake, IN, 2023

  • Fri. 9 am - 12 pm
