Counselor
Megan counsels adolescents and adults dealing with issues such as childhood abuse, anxiety, eating disorders, and those longing for connection in the everyday. Having been the client in the room before she understands what it feels like to get stuck as well as what freedom feels like when a break-through comes. She is passionate and committed to stir up the good in her clients and sit with them in the hardships they may face. Megan has been mentoring others since 2002 and has been lay counseling and coaching since 2013.
She finished her undergrad degree at Liberty University in Psychology and Counseling in 2019 and her Master’s in Counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary in 2022. She is currently working towards a PhD through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a focus on the churches call of response to the mental health needs of the local community. Megan believes in the value and worth of her clients and strives to provide a safe space for them to explore their dignity so that the work done in session can be tested and maintained in life.
